This book is the only official book by the Japan Foundation. The most important thing is to understand the structure of the questions well. This is not about doing a lot of questions.Time it, concentrate on it, and make it like a real exam. Do not look at the answers or look up the parts you do not understand during the exam. Conduct the test before the real test to know your own ability.

Vocabulary practice book

The approximate vocabulary number for N4 is approximately 1,500. This includes, of course, the 800 vocabulary words used in N5; review the N5 vocabulary as well.Vocabulary should be studied on a daily basis, not just at the last minute, as N4 questions often focus on vocabulary related to daily life and school. Vocabulary questions are also the easiest place to get marks, so make sure you are perfect and prepared.

In N4, you will be asked to choose from approximately 300 kanji.workbook. N5 was 100 words, so you can see that 300 words is a lot of preparation. But No worries. There will be no written questions. You will be asked to choose from similar kanji or to choose the reading of a kanji, so please practice carefully and pay attention to the shape of the kanji.

Comprehensive Exercise Textbook

  • Study start time : 2 months before

The book is structured in a very systematic way. It is also well analyzed and will help you pass the exam. The course is designed to be 4 weeks long, so you can start 2 months in advance and spend the rest of the time reviewing and trying out practice problems.

Preparatory Course for the Jlpt N4 Character & Vocabulary & Grammar & Reading Comprehension (Japanese Language Proficiency Test)

What I like about this book is that the grammar is broken down into units. The book is organized by hard-to-understand particles and expressions, so it can be used for review outside of exams as well.

In addition to these, there are also a variety of other question books in different areas. It is a good idea to review grammar items that you are particularly weak in with your regular comprehensive textbook or with your teacher. Use the JLPT as an opportunity to review for all and push up your Japanese language skills.

Wishing you the best!
